In this Privacy Policy, “Entwyn,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Inference Aftermath Private Limited.

This Privacy Policy explains how Entwyn (“Entwyn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when you use the Entwyn mobile apps, websites, and related services at entwyn.ai (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile data: name, date of birth, gender, photos, bio, preferences, contact details, and account credentials.
  • Content and communications: messages you send through the Service, support requests, safety reports, and moderation submissions.
  • Transaction data: subscription status, purchase metadata, refunds, and billing records supplied by payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Device, log, and usage data: IP address, device identifiers, browser or app version, cookies or tokens, feature usage, crash diagnostics, and error logs.
  • Trust and safety data: reports of abuse, suspected fraud, identity or age verification materials when requested, and actions taken to keep the Service safe.
  • Website compatibility test data: if you use the compatibility test on our website, the first name you enter, your quiz answers, computed scores, and any feedback you leave. No account or email is required for the test.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • personalize matching, recommendations, and notifications;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and safety incidents;
  • respond to support, privacy, and security requests; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.

3. Legal Bases

Where required by applicable law, we process personal information on one or more of these bases:

  • performance of our contract with you;
  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • our legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and support operations;
  • protection of vital interests; and
  • your consent, where consent is required.

4. How We Share Information

We may share personal information with:

  • service providers that host infrastructure, provide analytics, process payments, or help us run support operations;
  • other users, consistent with your profile visibility and in-app actions;
  • law enforcement, regulators, or other third parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • counterparties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or similar corporate transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

Forms on our website are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs invisibly to distinguish people from bots. When you interact with a protected form, Turnstile processes limited device and browser signals on Cloudflare’s behalf to make that assessment; it does not serve ads or track you across sites. This processing is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Notice.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account administration, safety investigations, fraud prevention, backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We may retain limited records of support, privacy, and security requests to document actions taken and meet regulatory obligations.

When an account-deletion request is accepted — whether made in-app or as a verified email request to privacy@entwyn.ai — sessions and push registrations are revoked immediately and the account becomes inaccessible. For 30 days after acceptance you can ask support to restore the account; during this window your account identifiers (such as your phone number) stay reserved for the deleted account and cannot be used to create a new one, and retained profile data is hidden from other users. If the account is not restored within 30 days, remaining account data, identifiers, and private chat media are automatically and permanently deleted, and the deletion becomes irreversible. Minimal deletion receipts may be retained for up to one year to document completion; safety, dispute, payment, or legal records may be retained longer where required and are disassociated from the account where supported.

In-app notification history and matching diagnostic snapshots are normally retained for no more than about 90 days. A requested portability archive is available for up to one day after it is prepared. The detailed retention periods for each data category are maintained in our internal data-retention schedule.

Website compatibility-test entries (first names, answers, scores, and feedback) are automatically deleted no later than 180 days after the test they belong to was created; result and dashboard links stop working once the underlying entries are deleted. Residual copies may persist in our database provider's automatic backups for up to 30 additional days after that deletion before they expire.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • access, correct, or update your information;
  • request deletion of your account or personal information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • request a copy of your information.

We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

To delete your account, use Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or follow the steps on our account-deletion page if you can no longer sign in.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

We may process information in countries other than where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that we collected personal information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice through the Service or at entwyn.ai where appropriate.
